A Vision of Belonging and Mentorship
The Aha Clinical Supervision Communty is sponsored by the online Nurse Practitioner masters and post masters certificate programs at Rush University College of Nursing.
It is a "place" where advanced practice psychiatric nurses come together in a "virtual learning environment" to share and discuss excellence in clinical practice and mentor one another in professional development.
The mission is three fold:
Increase the work force of Advanced practice Psychiatric Mental Health Nurses, especially in rural and underserved areas
Create a sense of belonging and contribution to a clinical supervision community that is mutually nurturing
Provide a life-long learning environment for Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners and Clinical Specialists to enhance professional competency
Aha! Members are encouraged to identify nurses who show potential to strive for PMH-NP or CS certification, and partner with them toward overcoming practical difficulties along the way.
